Wealth Management Website Redesign in 3 Steps

Redesigning a website for a financial or wealth management firm isn’t just about making it look pretty — it’s about creating a user experience that builds trust, drives conversions, and communicates professionalism. At 5Four, we recently worked with a wealth management group to give their site a full overhaul. Here's how we tackled it in three strategic steps.

1. Build Trust Through Design

In the financial world, trust is everything. That starts with a consistent and professional visual language. For this project, we used a refined color palette — navy blue, yellow, and white — with subtle gradients and frosted-glass style backgrounds to create a sleek, modern feel.

Each core service area had a color-coded section, holistic financial planning, strategic tax planning, and personalized wealth management. This visual consistency wasn’t just for aesthetics — it provided users with instant visual cues, helping them navigate with ease.

We also worked closely with a compliance partner to ensure every piece of content met industry standards. Every headline, paragraph, and downloadable asset was run through their approval pipeline before going live. Using Webflow, we built and staged content privately before publishing, making the entire process seamless and secure.

2. Optimize the User Journey

Ease of use is key. The site was structured with a clear navigation system, including dropdowns for services and direct access to client portals. The primary call-to-action “Get Started” is always visible and leads to a streamlined contact form that includes office locations, a downloadable PDF, and contact details, all above the fold.

We also focused on social proof, testimonials, case studies, and advisor bios were integrated throughout the site. The advisor section runs on a custom CMS we built specifically for this project, making it easy to update and manage. Each advisor profile includes FAQs, areas of expertise, and direct contact information, which further builds trust and encourages client engagement.

3. Enhance Functionality with Secure Tech

For functionality, we integrated HubSpot’s appointment booking system along with calendar availability via Calendly. All interactions are secured by HTTPS and an active SSL certificate, ensuring user data is protected at every stage.

We also prioritized on-page SEO by structuring subpages clearly and using optimized metadata throughout. The result? A site that’s not only visually cohesive and secure, but also fast and easy to find.

A financial website doesn’t have to be sterile or overly complex. With the right design choices, a focus on compliance, and a user-first approach, your site can become a powerful tool to attract and retain high-value clients.
