Moneylit is the brainchild of Financial Advisor, Stan Leconte. With 20+ years of experience in the space, he was in search of an agency to help bring his idea to fruition.
Client’s Dilemma
Moneylit was looking to piggyback off of an important announcement in South Florida. Fun fact: On March 22, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 1054, titled the Dorothy L. Hukill Financial Literacy Act, which will require high school students to take a financial literacy course to receive a standard high school diploma. Moneylit wanted to create a curriculum that was easily accessible for students.
Our solution was to perform a detailed competitive audit. We downloaded all of the popular apps in the space and tested them, creating a stylescape of all of our observations. By leveraging high-performing apps, introducing app data to our strategy and leveraging those items to conduct a detailed app walkthrough, we developed a prototype in Figma the client could use in their pitch deck to pitch potential investors.
While performing the audit, we worked on the brand identity of the company, utilizing a modern typeface, clean, fun design and an aesthetic that could cater to a wide demographic of potential students.
After a 90 day sprint, Brand Discovery and iterations which included sitemap development and wireframe design based on historical data and analytics history, we built 1 cohesive mobile app UI with 60+ screens including a signup process, payment gateway and 3rd party integration.
Here are a few visual elements from the launch, mobile app UI and brand identity.
